News from the Falcons training camp.
Springfield recognizes that they have an enhanced lineup to start the year, so there is a general excitement. But they also recognize that the remainder of the league has the same enhancements, so at this time, it is going to be an AHL+ league. Very competitive.
Goaltender Allen York is nursing an injury and is not playing relative to the on ice raining/conditioning at this time.
The skaters recognize they are facing extreme competition for roster spots and playing time. Interviews reveal little as the players are saying all the right things. Forward Cody Bass who left left year’s season early with an injury is healed and ready to go.

Springfield’s first exhibition game is against Providence Wednesday. ~So roster cuts are coming.
